Fly & Lice Spot On for Cattle & Sheep

Fly & Lice Spot On Insecticide is a ready to use, oil-based topical ectoparasiticide containing deltamethrin at a concentration of 1% w/v.

This insecticide is designed for the control of various parasites on cattle, sheep, and lambs, ensuring the wellbeing of livestock by managing infestations effectively.

Uses & Targeted Parasites

Cattle

  • Controls both sucking and biting lice, including Damalinia bovis, Solenopotes capillatus, Linognathus vituli, and Haematopinus eurysternus.
  • Also aids in controlling biting and nuisance flies including Haematobia irritans, Stomoxys calcitrans, Musca species, and Hydrotaea irritans.

Sheep

  • Effective against ticks (Ixodes ricinus), lice, and keds, as well as established blowfly strike.

Lambs

  • Controls ticks (Ixodes ricinus) and lice (Bovicola ovis).

Dosage & Administration

Apply a single dose topically on the mid line of the back at the shoulders using the special squeeze and pour dispenser pack.

Lambs (under 10kg bodyweight or 1 month of age) - 2.5ml

  • Cattle milk - zero hours
  • Cattle meat - 17 days

Can I use it on laying chickens to control mites? No, this is licensed for cattle and sheep only. -- Can you use it on young calves We have checked with the makers of the product and their vet and they have advised 10ml for young calves. -- What is the withdrawal time Withdrawal periods: Cattle (meat): 17 days. Cattle (milk): zero hours. Sheep (meat): 35 days.
